In addition to other teams that achieved the milestone, the Kansas City Chiefs and Tennessee Titans both made it into the league’s history books in 1994 and 2022, respectively.

1. Tennessee Titans
On the Tennessee Titans’ January 22, 2022, divisional round NFL game against the Cincinnati Bengals, Tennessee tied the record with nine sacks in a single game.
Additionally, Jeffrey Simmons, who had three sacks, Harold Landry, and Denico Autry were important players in the game.
However, the Titans lost the match against the Bengals 19–16 in spite of their strong defense.
2. Kansas City Chiefs
When the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Houston Oilers in the Divisional Round on January 16, 1994, they achieved the nine-sack milestone.
