Sheldon Rankins is reportedly unmarried, and there are no rumours or details regarding his wife or relationship. Since last month, Rankins has been battling a viral illness, and he has not played since Nov. 7.
Born on April 2, 1994, Sheldon Rankins is an American football player who plays defensive tackle for the NFL’s Cincinnati Bengals.
After playing football for Louisiana College, the New Orleans Saints selected him in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
After attending Covington, Georgia’s Eastside High School, Rankins committed to play collegiate football at the University of Louisville.
During his freshman and sophomore seasons at Louisville, Rankins primarily played as a backup, recording 22 tackles and four sacks.
In his 13 games as a junior in 2014, Rankins recorded 53 tackles, eight sacks, and two interceptions.
As a senior in 2015, he recorded 58 tackles, six sacks, and a touchdown on a fumble return.

Sheldon Rankins appears to be more focused on his career and is reportedly single
Rumors that Sheldon Rankins is married or has a wife are unfounded, and he has never spoken about it publicly.
Furthermore, Rankins is very private about his life and does not have a public social media account, which makes it more difficult to learn about his private affairs.
Despite becoming well-known and playing in the NFL for seven seasons, Rankins remains modest about his life.
Furthermore, it appears that Rankins is more concerned with his career than he is with beginning a new life with a particular person.
Rankins Has Had a Viral Illness for the Past Month, and He Had a Hamstring Injury Before That
The Cincinnati Bengals have placed defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins on the reserve/non-football illness list.
Since the Bengals’ Nov. 7 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, the team has sidelined him due to a viral illness that began last month.
Even though they have not disclosed the specific illness, likely, Rankins’ season and possibly his time with the Bengals are over.

In his first season with the Bengals, Rankins has played in seven games and recorded 18 total tackles and one sack.
Ahead of the 2024 season, Rankins agreed to a two-year contract worth $24.5 million with the Bengals, presumably to cover for DJ Reader, who left for the Detroit Lions.
Along with the illness that has prevented him from playing, Rankins has struggled with several injuries this season, such as a hamstring strain that kept him out of several games.
Alongside BJ Hill, the Bengals have relied on rookies Kris Jenkins Jr. and McKinnley Jackson to take on more responsibility on the interior of the defensive line in Rankins’ absence.
