He allegedly tried to escape after rear-ending another car in downtown Franklin.
According to records that PEOPLE could obtain, he also offered to pay the car’s driver $2,000 if he didn’t call the police.
According to the Franklin Police news release,
Cutler also had bloodshot eyes and was slurring his words. Cutler refused field sobriety tests and was taken to a local hospital where a blood sample was obtained through a blood search warrant.
Furthermore, they released him on a $5,000 bond on Thursday night, but the damage had already been done because his arrest had made headlines and was widely publicized.
Cutler’s court date for the DUI and gun possession allegations is January 16, 2025.
