Chris Shula married his wife, Jennifer Shula, in 2021, and the couple has two children: a daughter named Avery and a recently born son.
Born on February 5, 1986, Chris Shula is an American football coach and the defensive coordinator for the National Football League’s (NFL) Los Angeles Rams.
Prior to this, he was an assistant coach for the San Diego Chargers, Ball State University, Indiana University, and John Carroll University. He also played college football as a linebacker at Miami University.
From 2004 to 2008, Shula was a linebacker for the Miami RedHawks, where he was a teammate of Sean McVay.
Furthermore, Ball State University hired Shula as their assistant linebackers coach in 2010.
Chris’s grandfather is the late Hall of Fame coach Don Shula, and his father is former Cincinnati Bengals head coach Dave Shula.

In addition to serving as an offensive coach for multiple NFL teams and as the former head coach of Alabama, his uncle Mike Shula is currently an offensive analyst for the South Carolina Gamecocks.
