NBA player Rui Hachimura has three younger siblings: two sisters and one brother. Allen, his younger brother, plays basketball for a B.League team after attending Tokai University.
Rui Hachimura is a Japanese professional basketball player who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association.

Allen Hachimura was born in December 20, 1999, in Toyama Prefecture, Japan. His parents raised him along with his brother and sisters.
Like his brother, he completed his education at Umegaoka Middle School after attending Okuda Middle School.
Allen graduated from Meisei High School, where he played basketball and won the national title, then attended Tokai University.
He also won a national championship at his college, which helped him gain recognition, and he now plays in the B.League.
The B.League, Japan’s professional men’s basketball league, commenced play in September 2016.
As of the 2023-24 B.League season, he wears the number 8 jersey and plays for the Gunma Crane Thunders.
Moreover, he earned his career-high 18 points against Niigata Albirex Bb on November 19, 2022, and has become an established player for Gunma Crane.
Allen Revealed the Racial Remarks and Messages Given to Him and His Brother Rui Hachimora
Allen, the younger brother of Japanese NBA player Rui Hachimura, posted a message photo with anti-black slurs addressed at the two of them.
In the tweet, Allen expressed his desire to increase awareness of prejudice against minorities in Japan.

He provided a screenshot of an Instagram message sent to him that stated in Japanese that the brothers were “born by mistake” and “should die.”
The sender frequently used the most derogatory anti-Black epithet, describing the two as useless aside from their basketball prowess.
In a reply below the tweet, his brother Rui said, “Messages like this come almost every day” implying that the NBA player is also frequently the target of direct anti-Black comments online.
The post reached many individuals who supported Allan and advised him to ignore such messages. His post also raised awareness of racism in Japan.
